I'm really sorry Gen. Collin Powell but i just had to post this link.
Now, i don't mean to be a kill joy or anything, but i think foreigners (esp. those in positions of power/influence) should learn alot about any culture before embracing it.
This is like Goodluck Jonathan doing Cassidy's 'I'm A Hustla' dance or singing along to USDA's 'White Girl', u feel me? Even if he isnt aware, Jonathan will be indirectly endorsing drug dealing in the same way some might argue that Colin Powell is endorsing 'yahoo yahoo', without knowing it. Ignorance is no excuse, they say.
But the clip is still funny as hell sha. The best part is he got the movement so well. But what do u think? Do you think Collin shouldn't have done it or its not a big a deal as i'm making it be. Afterall, i'm just a blogger,so kini big deal? (p.s Naeto needs to trademark that line)

The 'little' yahoozee thing backfired a bit cos, BBC closely X-rayed the dance and investigated its roots.
@Chinenye: anybody is free to dance to whatever they like, sha. but a leader IS a leader. he ought to know better.
@Thompson: tru he may not be as corrupt as ... (name withheld for security reasons), but two wrongs dont make a right now, does it?

I have a problem with someone saying he's supportin the Nigerian "cause" by dancing to yahoozee....since when did our symbol of national pride become "19"??? in that case, they might as well play Kelly handsome's Maga don pay and he can dance and shout alleluyah to dat too....dat way he can show real solidarity!
